The first of the 2012 Cannondale bikes are starting to trickle through Kaos's front door and if these first few bikes are anything to go by it's going to be a vintage year for Cannondale.
Lets looks at two ends of the spectrum for Cannondale Road bikes.

Cannondale Supersix Evo 1
At just 695 grams*, it is the lightest frame ever tested at Zedler Fahrradtechnik in Germany.
It’s Stiff.
It has the best stiffness-to-weight ever recorded, an incredible 142.3 Nm/deg/kg.*
It’s Strong.
BallisTec Carbon Construction and superior carbon engineering allow the EVO to outperform even the legendary CAAD9 in destructive and fatigue testing.
It’s Smooth.
Rather than simply improving rider comfort, the two-zone SPEED SAVE micro-suspension system is designed to help the EVO roll, corner and accelerate faster.
Available now
If you go with either the Supersix Evo 1 with Shimano Dura ace and Cannondale BB30 si crankset $8,995
or the Evo 2 with Sram Red $6,995,
both of these bikes are built to race.
Cannondale CAAD 8

Cannondale CAAD 8
The entry-level CAAD8 road bike also gets a redesign, with SAVE technology for a more forgiving ride. It shares much of its geometry with the more race-focussed CAAD10, but has a slightly taller head tube for a more relaxed riding position that should appeal to novice riders, along with asymmetric chainstays (beefier on the drive side).
This bike is speced out with 10-speed Shimano Tiagra, Cannondale and FSA components for a seriously low price of $1,399.
